Xiaomi CIVI 3: New model launches as Disney 100th Anniversary Edition with Disney camera filters

Xiaomi has re-released the CIVI 3 as part of Disney's 100th-anniversary

Xiaomi has re-released the CIVI 3 as part of Disney's 100th-anniversary celebrations. As always, the limited edition model retains the same hardware as the regular CIVI 3 that Xiaomi presented last month. For reference, Xiaomi equips the CIVI 3 with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset, a 4,500 mAh battery and a 6.55-inch AMOLED display that resolves at 1080p with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the CIVI 3 houses a 50 MP primary camera and twin 32 MP front-facing cameras like its predecessor.

As Xiaomi's promotional images show, the Disney 100th Anniversary Edition has a large Mickey Mouse graphic pointing to its circular camera housing, along with a 'Disney 100' logo. Moreover, Xiaomi has bundled themed accessories, which it extends to other devices like earbuds and fitness trackers. Xiaomi does not restrict Disney theming to the outside, though.

Instead, it extends these changes to pre-installed app icons, backgrounds and camera filters that combine shots with a Mickey Mouse reaction and comic lettering. The Disney 100th Anniversary Edition will be offered exclusively in China for CNY 2,899 (~US$407) with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. As one image below shows, Xiaomi also includes a Mickey Mouse-branded box and several associated stickers.
