YOKOHAMA (Kyodo) -- Trevor Bauer, acquired by the Central League's DeNA BayStars after 30 MLB teams declined to sign him at any price, earned his second win in Japan, going eight innings Saturday in a 6-2 interleague win over the Pacific League's Seibu Lions.

Bauer (2-2) allowed two runs at Yokohama Stadium, lowering his ERA to 5.59. He struck out 10 and walked three while allowing three hits, two of them solo home runs.

The right-hander served a 194-game suspension for violating MLB's domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse policy, and became available after he was released this year from the final year of his Los Angeles Dodgers contract.

Another new BayStar, shortstop Yota Kyoda, went 4-for-4 with a double. He singled in the game's first run and scored the go-ahead run in DeNA's three-run fifth off Seibu ace Kona Takahashi (4-3).

The win improved DeNA's interleague record to 3-1, while the Lions fell to 2-2.

The two-time defending PL champion Orix Buffaloes beat the Chunichi Dragons 5-1, while the CL's Yakult Swallows, who ended a 13-game winless streak Thursday, won their second straight, downing the last-place Rakuten Eagles 9-5.

The CL's Hiroshima Carp got past the SoftBank Hawks 4-2, while the Yomiuri Giants needed 10 innings to defeat the PL's Nippon Ham Fighters 3-2 on Kazuma Okamoto's walk-off RBI double.
